Pastor Jean Claude Belchet was under the rubble for two hours - he couldn't breathe and thought he was going to die. He made it out, but his wife and two children didn't. Still, he soldiers on. Here is his harrowing story.
clear the way for the people.
Build up, build up the highway;
remove the stones.
Lift up a standard over the peoples."
"...and they will call them
'the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord,'
and you will be called:
'Sought out, a city not forsaken.'"
Isaiah 62:10,12
Powerful. Applicable.
..."before the earthquake when we'd talk about Jesus with someone they didn't really believe that there is a God. But after the earthquake people really understood, believed that there is a God...."
"..we did not die in the earthquake so our task is not done--we have to work to bring change into Haiti--change is transformation and improvement."
God is still bringing good out of a horrific situation.
