Considering a call to the mission field? Experiential learning is probably the best way to figure out if you are called. In other words, go on a short-term mission trip. However, everybody needs to read up on something before just jumping into it. And preparing for the mission field by counting the cost is just good stewardship. I suggest reading the back issues of Missions Frontiers.
