Maybe it’s a thousand, or maybe it’s just hundreds, either way, it’s horrific. AIM’s country director, Miguel Santiago, was just in Port-au-Prince. Because we work with local pastors, we can go to the places that are hardest hit and address the needs that are there. But what can you say or do when you encounter a situation like this? In it you here a local pastor say that a thousand children were crushed when their three-story building collapsed.
AIM is mobilizing to bring food, medical teams, relief teams, and eventually reconstruction teams. If you’re interested in going, let me know and one of our staff will talk with you about it. If you’d like to give, here’s how. I just got off a phone call with a church that had taken an offering – we’ll be sharing their funds quickly at the point of need.
Please join with us and talk to your church about helping.
I’m interested in hearing when you guys would be going and trying to join in.
Please continue to post news about Haiti and how we can help/pray. I am posting these on my facebook page.
And Jesus, I pray with all of Seth’s readers, that you would surround Port-au-Prince with your Love and healing. Holy Spirit come and flood that place.
We pray against any evil spirits that would stir up riots, or looting, or murder.
God, speak to every heart in that place. Give every soldier, every volunteer, every missionary, every resident incredible endurance. Not by might but by your Spirit.
And God I pray specifically for that school. Comfort those families, God of all comfort! And sustain the child that may still be alive. If it’s your will, please send a leader to that school to organize a team to move that rubble. Let the people of Port-au-Prince join together in rescue work – for souls and lives.
The Spirit and the bride say, Come Lord Jesus!
Dear Daddy Seth,
I was weeping to see this video.
I want to go there and working with your team.
We continue praying for the funds for the people and your mission.
God bless You.
