1. Because it’s where Andrew and Mo Shearman live and we love them.

2. The students at the g42 Academy are incredible. I’ve grown close to guys like Tres Washington. I love dreaming with them about where God might use them to build his kingdom around the globe.

3. I love what this place stands for. Andrew injects the vision of a hope-filled God and a soon-coming kingdom into everyone who attends the school. The place is alive with possibilities.

4. If you look out over the sea on a clear day, you can see the Moroccan shore. And that for me represents the future – places that need God’s love and are waiting for someone to share it in a way they can hear and feel.

5. We love Mijas’ narrow cobblestone streets, its quaint shops, its white buildings with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. In this hardscrabble world we live in, a cappuccino at a sidewalk cafe in Mijas is the perfect antidote to whatever ails you.

We’ll be teaching the students on discipling, leadership, church planting, and spiritual entrepreneurship this week. Jetlagged last night, I awoke at 1:30 and spent time working on what I’ll share. I felt God saying, “Interact with them as you would a good friend. Discover what I’m doing in them and come alongside that.” I got a picture of Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society as a model. So with that as an objective, I’m walking over to the school this morning.

If you’ve ever wanted to discover more of what God is doing in the earth and how to join him, I recommend coming here and taking a few classes. It’s an awesome place.
