Bungee jumping to your destiny

I just sent the following to 30,000 people with Mark Lindberg’s help and many of Ashley Musick’s words. I loved Ashley’s symbolic act at the end of her year of ministry.
Dear fellow adventurer,
Today, the team of 14 World Racers returned from an incredible, adventure-filled year of ministering around the world. Ashley Musick sums it up in this letter:
I’ve traveled the entire world – so many tears, so many laughs, and so many prayers together! What an amazing year.
This was the trip of a lifetime. These phrases from the past year will forever echo in my mind;
“Who does this?”
” A life like no other!” “
We must be crazy!“
Who can forget the praying orphans of India, the monks high in the hills of Tibet, the war-torn children of Bosnia, or the poorest of poor in the slums of Nairobi? I’m thankful for the way God has used all the World Racers this year to impact people for His glory.
In one of our debrief lessons, we talked about being initiated into a radical life for Jesus. So at our last destination, South Africa, I decided to cement the lesson by bungee jumping off the third highest bridge in the world. I placed my toes over the edge and I fell without fear.
This year we cliff-jumped, literally and figuratively. We left family, friends, careers, our homes, and we jumped off.
Along the way, we’ve wrestled together with questions like: What is my purpose in life? How can I make a difference in this life? Over and over, God has helped me answer these questions.
I will never be the same. I never want to be the same.
Ashley’s amazing year could be yours as well! We’re looking for people like you to take a year and bungee jump for God. Don’t settle for the ordinary! See if you qualify for the 2007 World Race. Take 15 minutes and complete a Quick App. We’ll get back to you right away!
Yours for the Kingdom,
Seth Barnes

Oh well, it is quite a way to relate to life as well!
