Carl sifts through the rubble of life
After the earthquake, people were trapped under buildings all around. One boy had his foot wedged under a wall. Carl tugged and tugged to get him loose before the aftershocks toppled the rest of the building. Finally, he succeeded in getting the boy free from the rubble.
That story…

That story and others haunt Carl to this day. Katie Rowland does an excellent job in this video of capturing what it must feel like for Carl.
Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti. Satan has a stronghold in this country. I have a missionary friend who is there and the letters he sends us are so sad and so revealing as to the far reaching destruction of evil. Far greater even, than that of the earthquake. Pastor Lerisse (my friend) has dual citizenship American/Haitian..his wife is American and they both graduated from Hyles Anderson College….I believe it’s a Bible college in Indiana? They’ve been on the field several years now and were there when the earthquake struck. Anyway, they need your prayers. Please feel free to contact him for a prayer letter if the Lord lays it upon your heart. [email protected]
He went back to Haiti after God called him to go back to his homeland to serve his own people. He is also working in the Dominican to reach the Haitian people who fled there after the earthquake. They have four children. Please please pray for Biz and Erica Lerisse. I know that they would be so very grateful.
Blessings to all,
Rebecca
