Liz Ogletree is working to help get aid to those needing it in the Philippines. She just wrote a blog post and a pilot read it and responded:

“I am a Navy Helicopter Pilot flying relief missions in the Leyte Gulf. Dulag is on the Western side of the Leyte Gulf well south of Tacloban and Palo. I will personally add Dulag to the list of villages and towns we are dropping aid to and try my best to take a load of food/water there tomorrow.

There is lots of aid coming into Tacloban airport and its getting a lot of attention. We are trying to make sure the small villages along the coasts and islands are not neglected. I promise help is on the way!”

Later he wrote, I made sure it was on the list and I know helos made it over there with food and water.”

How awesome is that?!

Adventures in Missions is mobilizing a team to help. Click here to find out more.

Please give to help the relief efforts.  You can go to the link here: Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief to give.  ANY AMOUNT would be so appreciated, and your gift will go directly to aid in bringing relief to those who need it most.
