Kingdom Dreams: creating new doors
Ryan Bodine spent a month at an orphanage in Haiti with AIM. Later, he led a missions trip to Brazil on his own. Neil, who works for our new initiative, Kingdom Dreams, called him a week ago and asked how he was doing.
“I’m working at my dad’s factory, just kind of going through the motions,” he said. “I want to start an orphanage but I don’t know where or how I’m going to do it. I don’t like my job. I feel stuck.”
While praying for him, Neil had a vision. Ryan was stuck in a room with no doors. He wanted to get out but couldn’t find a way. This describes so many young Christians today. They want to do great things for God, but feel trapped and powerless to pursue their dreams.
As a representative of Kingdom Dreams, Neil was able to help Ryan consider options to realize his dream.
Neil connected Ryan with an orphanage in Swaziland where he can apprentice for six months to gain experience. He found people who could train him in fundraising and connected him to a network hundreds of ministries, nonprofits and businesses all over the world.
We all need help like that to realize our dream. We need champions to help us. I believe God created everyone with a dream. Unfortunately, most people stop short of realizing theirs. The team of coaches and volunteers at Kingdom Dreams is committed that no one should miss their dream. This world desperately needs Christ-followers like you to commit to and accomplish your dream.
Accomplishing dreams takes a team effort to succeed. Kingdom Dreams is a ministry that will help thousands of people just like Ryan bring the Kingdom in tangible ways. I believe we will help build orphanages in Brazil, feed starving children in Kenya, and build businesses around the world that will fund these projects.
Of course we are going to need some help.
If you are curious as to how you might be a part of Kingdom Dreams, please check out the website and contact us. We are looking for coaches, mentors, and job opportunities for this group of passionate world changers.
It will be a fulfillment of my dream when we one day see a generation full alive. I believe Kingdom Dreams will be a tool in God’s hands to make it happen.

I’m feeling the same way. I’m asking for God’s guidance and to get out of this paralyzing stuckness. I’m eager to find God’s heart and find what exactly He has called me up to for His dreams. I’m eager to dream with Jesus….
I love this idea. We also feel stuck. My family has a huge heart for the orphan and loves the poor and other cultures. I feel very stuck! My hubby has been out of work for over a year and a half and every time we try to buy a home ( the American dream) and get settled, or try to adopt from foster care He slams that door shut. We pray that if the reason for that is that we would serve abroad that He would make it known and provide and guide us. There is not a day or night that goes by where I fall asleep without thinking about the fatherless. I’m told that that isn’t normal and something that everyone does. Therefore, I believe the Lord put the desire in me for a purpose. I’m checking out your site. I wonder if you could direct me. We are an orphan advocating family with 5 children that has never done over seas work. ( not your typical missionary family) Thank you, Bless you. Alida w5
Love this. Empowering for Kingdom purpose! Go God, that your glory may cover the earth!
Thanks Seth for “your” obedience and faithfulness in your walk.
I appreciate the encouragement, Joy and Alida. The more I delve into the subject, the more I see that God is a dreamer and that dreaming with us about his kingdom is one of his favorite dreams.
OH SO GOOD!!!! Ahhhh…. partnering with you in prayer, and dreaming with you, too! Perfect timing on this blog, Seth. Feeling like I am supposed to step out a little farther now. Praying on what that looks like. Please pray for me!
I’ll be praying for you, Jen. Feel free to try out our new coaching services. we’re still beta testing them and would love to see what you think!
