  • Happened upon these images this morning and admire the power and faith captured so eloquently in each.
I am disturbed though by what appears to be the lack of any images reflecting the Gospel being needed/preached to whites; ALL these images depict people of color.
I’m not blind to the reality that they are frequently among ‘the least of the least’ but there’s something about seeing this group of images that conveys white religious imperialism, for me, and dampens their effectiveness.

  • Having worked in several advertising and marketing agencies and owning one (TouchPoint Solutions) I’ve had some experience in understanding the power of images to motivate positive and negative action. Seth, you have a wonderful set of images here among the full group “in the running”. And in the spirit of what motivated the Apostle Paul in Acts 17 to “understand the marketplace before communicating the life giving message of Jesus” you are mobilizing such a cadre of image bearerstoo. We are all looking forward to the announcement of a winner and affirm those who participated. Pray for my daughter Mikia by the way. She leaves for Africa in a few days and I am asking God to break her heart. I enjoyed our time in Lenoir, North Carolina a few days ago. You fit in with the ragamuffins who are for a season my mission field. Love you.

  • Excellent and powerful shots. They’re like “image-parables”, each contains their own story. May God use these to further stir us all to go where He calls.

  • Thanks for sharing, Seth! As Mark so aptly stated in his comment, these are “image parables”. And we are being blessed by them today!

  • Now I’m certain the judges will have a very tough time concluding their assignment. These are truly a great collection of “image parables” …many God moments. Well done guys!!

I'm motivated to join God in his global reclamation project. He's on the move, setting his sons and daughters free from their places of captivity. And he's partnering with those of us who have been freed to go and free others.
