Yesterday, encouraged by Talia, I started a Pinterest Not OK board. You can see it here.

There are things that bother us in the world. And usually we can do something about them if….

If we’re Not OK with the status quo.

Orphans that have been abandoned.

Widows who have no one to care for them.

Nine year-old girls trafficked in Thailand.

People starving to death.

Real people. Somewhere in the world. Right now.

I posted their pictures and links to their stories.

I’m going to challenge our World Racers to create their own Not OK board. The world needs to see. And we need to make a difference.

  • You do make a difference. You do help me every day with your words, and I thank you for all that you do. This is a great idea.

  • Love, love this idea. Have re-pinned your board onto my Not OK Board. You do such a nice summary and make it easy to read the clips. Standing in the gap with you with the 6 orphans we support.

  • Rachel – did you see that you’d shared my most moving Not OK story?

Carrie & Jenny – thanks. Hope we can spread the idea!

  • What a great idea seth!!! I recently got rid of pinterest because i found it to be a tempting time waster. Maybe ill rethink that

  • Hi Seth. My husband just got back from one of AIM’s trips. I follow your blog and appreciate your posts. I recently got into Pinterest too and created this board ‘for justice and setting captives free’ – http://pinterest.com/candacehewitt/for-justice-and-setting-captives-free/
I’m sure that you know A LOT of ministries or companies that are Not OK w/ the injustices around the world and are doing something about it (like AIM!). Would you be interested in starting a board that shared w/ the rest of us what people are doing to help solve these problems (and hopefully through that we can spread the word to others how they can help, etc.)? We’re always on the look out for good quality ministries that God is using to bring His Kingdom and truth and to set captives free.

  • Hey there is also version dedicated to things manly called gentlemint that’s probably a another good spot to post things that men should not be ok with

I'm motivated to join God in his global reclamation project. He's on the move, setting his sons and daughters free from their places of captivity. And he's partnering with those of us who have been freed to go and free others.
