Andy, in Colorado. KS is 28 and had a cardiac arrest, we still aren’t sure why, but she has a lot of brain injury due to lack of oxygen, possibly from seizures.  In my own doctors wisdom, I don’t think she’s even going to get off the ventilator.  So, since I think all I can do is pray for her at this point, I’d like to enlist the group for help.

Pearl, in Florida. She has to have several surgeries on her eyes. (Jen’s mom)

Heath Sammons. He is a 20 year old friend who is in end-stage
osteosarcoma (cancer of the bones). According to recent scans there are
tumors wrapping around all of his major organs, including his heart and
stomach along with his lower back and sacrum area. He is currently
having palliative care through hospice and Moffitt has sent him home
giving him 3 weeks to live. Heath needs a miracle.  (Jessica)

JoAnne – pancreatic cancer. The cancer has continued to grow, she has
stopped chemotherapy and is prayerfully considering experimental
treatment options. Her body is weak, failing but her spirit, faith is
stronger than ever. Please pray for JoAnne and her husband Thom,
children & grandchildren in these days and weeks ahead. (Pati)

Helen – multiple myeloma and renal/heart failure. She has been moved to
a care facility.

  • So much pain out there, bless these people with what they need from You, Lord.

    Update on Mark:
He was called in urgently a couple of days ago and his CEA levels (tumour marker) have tripled in the last 3 weeks. They now think the disease is over ruling the chemo. His big hope is that they will plummet again over the next 3 weeks and will be from an infection he had, not the cancer. 3 young kids, he’s 44. He holds on to his faith but is finding it hard going. The consultant has said a recovery would be remarkable from this point. We still stand with him, hoping for the remarkable.

    Update on Bob:
He is now well into his 3rd month, having only been given 2 months to live. He has a brain tumour. He has deteriorated physically but after a bad plummet, his spirits are up again now. He can no longer speak but he can still smile, and he does! I think God is probably calling him home, so I am praying for everything he and his family need now, for God’s hand on every last detail. “My times are in Your hands, O Lord.”

    Thanks, Carol xxx

  • For anyone who may want to prayerfully consider a natural alternative treatment center (located in Western North Carolina), let me know. The patient does have to be ambulatory, disciplined and become a member ($35 membership) to begin the program. The presupposition is that God gave us an immune system to fight off disease, and it must be strengthened. And that cancer doesn’t just “happen” to anyone. The body is either a welcoming environment for cancer or a resistant environment for such (and other diseases.)

With that, I add my earnest prayers for God’s miracle for those in need. It’s all God, and yet we do have our part in maintaining the miracle. (I had cancer 7 years ago.)

I'm motivated to join God in his global reclamation project. He's on the move, setting his sons and daughters free from their places of captivity. And he's partnering with those of us who have been freed to go and free others.
