The 10 Year Art Of Listening Prayer is HERE!
Ten years ago I released The Art of Listening Prayer: Hearing God’s Voice Amidst Life’s Noise, a 26-day devotional that introduced the basics of recognizing and listening to the voice of God. (Get it here.) It was at that time I, myself discovered and experienced this principle in my own life. Since then, it’s impacted a generation.
I received a suggestion from a friend that I should drop everything I was doing and go to Swaziland with him. That felt like it could be God or not, so I fasted and prayed for a week and received the confirmation that it was God. So I did; I dropped everything and went to Swaziland with him. It changed the course of my life.
Today we are re-launching the Ten Year Anniversary Edition of The Art of Listening Prayer.
Sometimes we need to be reminded and create for ourselves a space where we can re-focus on listening to what God is trying to share with us. We need to hear him express his love and care for us.
This 10-year anniversary edition of The Art of Listening Prayer:Hearing God’s Voice Amidst Life’s Noise will help you create that space today. It will give you the tools to carry on this dialogue for the rest of your life.
Here’s what people have been saying:
“Amazing book, it will give you more than you bargained for.” -Melissa Ward
“This book has an advantage over many other books on prayer: it forces you to stop and actually pray. The chapters are short and end with a prayer exercise, encouraging you to go and ask some very specific questions of God and begin a conversation. It is taking me deeper into prayer. The book engages you in around 30 prayer encounters, and provides the basis for a whole new habit. It is certainly not something to be rushed.” -Richard Jones

Since releasing this book ten years ago, the Lord has shown me even more about listening prayer and about who he is. He has shown me that listening is hard work.
Listening is not something we come to naturally – we have to practice it. It’s easy to fall out of practice and to talk instead of listen.

I am currently in my first ALP Bible study with other race parents and it is amazing. I hope and pray that I will learn and grow and change and maybe start a BIBLE study locally using your book!
