Why You May Need to Leave Suburbia

I recently was introduced to Gret Glyer. Gret grew up like so many Americans – comfortable. But as he shares in this video, leaving was one of the best things he ever did. He works amongst the poor in Malawi. I love his perspective – what do you think?

  • Love it. I’m in the states now for a short season and it’s hard not having people around who understand this kind of thing. It’s so refreshing to know there are people out there like me! Thanks for sharing Seth!

  • Stories like these are invariably motivating and keep the fires of “holy discontent” stoked. Thanks Seth.

  • What touches me most about Gret’s video is how simply he relates how his faith and love are demonstrated in the life He leads.
Nor an “I wish” or an “I want” but an honest “I can, I will, and I do.”
Gret makes us all want to do more and be a better person . I am glad to know him.

I'm motivated to join God in his global reclamation project. He's on the move, setting his sons and daughters free from their places of captivity. And he's partnering with those of us who have been freed to go and free others.
