Tony Sheng chimed in on my last blog – so I checked out his blog. That’s what we bloggers do. He points to another blog that gives eight lessons for aspiring missionaries. When it began by saying: 1. Skip Bible school; instead learn how to plant churches in real-life, I thought, “this is good stuff!”
Seth, you sent us to the blogg on eight points.
I agree in principle with his eight points but I edited #1 and #7
1. Skip Bible school; instead attend a great university and become an expert in a field that the country needs so that they will ask you to stay after ten years.
7. Get a great job: Beware of support with strings attached and get a job that pays well based upon your expertise so that you stay financially free to be able to move with God.
