Free Book: How to Identify Your Super Power
What if God created everyone with a latent superpower that just needed to be developed? What if there are seeds of greatness hidden inside all of us?
My grandkids all seem to know that they were born for something greater – one of their favorite things to do is pretend they are some superhero (the pic above is of Remy when he was three). What is it in a child that whispers to them and prods them that way?
Scripture tells us we all have amazing potential locked inside. We’re told, “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Eph. 2:10)
Think about that. You are not some afterthought. You are a masterpiece! God created you and planned good things for you to do!
So if it were true that we have a superpower waiting to be discovered and developed, how do we find it?
My experience is that we find it with a combination of reflection and revelation.
Reflection because, as you look at your peak life experiences, your superpower will often be present. Revelation because as you reflect, God will reveal patterns that show where he has gifted you.
I’ve written a tool to help people go through this process. I’d be happy to send it to you for free. It’s called The Quilt. It can take as little as an hour to complete. Do it with a friend or a group and it will give you a lot to talk about. When you think about finding your superpower, that information is priceless.
