We need to be well-known in hell
I received the following email from someone in
India warning
me about the radical Hindus there who have checked out our web site:
“I write this because the organisation AIM and one of their “adventures
in mission” trip to India was featured on the website of a
Indian
fascist/hindu anti-christian organisation (that’s how i came to know about
AIM). look at this website. It is the website of RSS/BJP which is
India’s right wing hindu nationalists seeking to brand India as a Hindu
nation…you are on their radar now.”
This brings up the following two points:
1. We need to be culturally sensitive in the way we come across. As Americans, we can undo much good done by national Jesus-followers as we go on short-term missions. I’m going to have our staff review what we’ve got on our web site about India.
2. We need to be well-known in hell. The web is an international phenomenon. As followers of Jesus, you and I need to be showing up on a few unfriendly blogs. We need to expect to see our name slandered. Jesus told us what to expect in Matt. 10.

Wow!!! What an eye-opener. You’re right; Matthew 10 says it ALL. What a profound chapter for this particular situation. I am in much prayer for you, AIM, and India. (Isaiah 54:17)
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” Hebrews 12:1
Great post…challenging. Known in hell, may it be.
That web site is full of lies.
The methods of “evangelism” they say
are used are bizzare.
I guess they have a lack of uniform
integrity within their faith too, dah!
they are not being transformed and sanctified
by the power of the Holy Spirit. We support
GFA and will be praying for India more now.
