Kd web1 1The goal of Kingdom Dreams is to connect people and raise resources to make dreams happen.

If you sign up, our team of coaches will help you clarify what your dream is and then work with you to develop a plan and a team.

Dreams are often too vague and our commitment to them too loose for them to become a reality. A coaching conversation can help you pinpoint where to start and connect you to people who can help you work on it.

Yesterday, for example, Patrice Deaton asked for a Level 1 Consultation. Eight other coaches-in-training listened in. I listened to Patrice begin by describing her life since the World Race two years ago. I heard her describe an orphanage in Mozambique that needs help. She said, "I want to be careful not to overwhelm Mama Rita with too much help, but I want to do something."

Having dealt with this kind of situation frequently, I was able to refer Patrice to a book on the subject (When Helping Hurts) as well as several articles that I promised to email her. I mentioned some other people I knew who had a similar passion and offered to connect her. I outlined a short set of steps that would help her develop a concrete plan and offered to help launch her toward developing that plan with three follow-up consultations. And after we were done, I followed up with an email.

When evaluating the conversation, Patrice described herself as "surprised." She had been stuck and was grateful to have some momentum toward her dream.

Too many of us have let our dreams lie fallow and unattended for too long. It's time to pick them up and give them the care that they deserve. We all need dream advocates, and young adults, especially, need to be initiated in to a lifestyle that reflects the kingdom of God by first watching someone else live that way.

Whether you need another person to help you think through next steps or you're an aspiring entrepreneur who has been researching where to start, Kingdom Dreams is a network of resources, from life coaches to business coaches to enterprise funding, that can help you. Together we're committed to the proposition that people's dreams are of great value – they need to be treasured and worked on.

This new initiative offers different levels of help. We train our coaches to "scratch the itch" of our dreamers by listening carefully to the heart-cry of those seeking our help. We offer dreamers job opportunities, networking connections, self-assessment, coaching, dream development, personal mentoring, and start-up resources.

Most of us want to see the dreams that God has placed in our hearts come to life. But we need help. Kingdom Dreams coaches know how to clarify the vision that God has given you and then launch you to the next level.
