Your prayers made a difference!
This has been going on for some time now, and we greatly appreciate all the prayers. We have seen God working through and in-spite of our little faith. When this first began, our initial thoughts were to our safety, and those of our children…my father-in-laws safety and security was secondary to our own. Through this event, and through the prayers of others I have seen myself, but most drastically, my wife change. From at first, when she was nearly paralyzed with fear, to now when she walks in boldness and courage.
My father-in-law is my father-in-law. He has his moments of rage when he calls and berates me on the phone, spews venom from hell, and explodes in anger when I speak. He still offers threats and has been arrested twice. (illegal guns and ammo; and meth). Somehow, in the hills of the Ozarks, this isn’t seen as abnormal as the rest of the world so he has been on probation.
The first few months were filled with fear and dread, but that has all past. Even when his name shows up on my phone screen, the sick feeling I had before has been replaced with a hope that he is calling to repent, or share some great news. Although he hasn’t changed (at least that we can see) we have and we thank YOU for your steadfastness in prayer.

Wow Seth! That is tremendous! I will dedicate my ongoing prayer time today to this family! I am grateful that deliverence happens… even if it is a process! It is still God and not human rationalizing. Thanks for the update.
Unfortunatly I didnt read the 1st blog at the time. I hope this helps:
“our fight is not against flesh and blood” “what we bind on earth will be bound in heaven”
When we are faced with demons residing in people we have the power to bind them (tie them up so I cant do anything) and gag them (we can silence our enemies). Eventually they will wriggle free of their bonds as their host will give them power as he is not submitted to Jesus, and then they will start again with their “antics” so we continue to pray until such a time this guy can be free.
Spiritual warfare is an ongoing thing.
Whilst the demons are bound and gagged, the person they are dwelling with will also feel freer and their spirit will be much more able to recieve the words of truth and freedom.
I know because of the power of prayer and my authority in Jesus, whoever comes to my home, whatever is in a person gets automaticly bound up the moment they step into my home. And if any demons are attached to them on the outside rather than in a person, they have to wait outside and leave when the person does.
My home is a sanctuary and Satan has no right here, no matter who visits. This too is ongoing warfare.
Take the authority given to you and rise up.
I hope any of this helps?
Thanks for letting us know how they are doing!
