Beautiful Questions to Ask in 2021
It’s the in between time. Time to take a last look into that maelstrom that was 2020 before shutting the door on all that wanted to make us miserable and kill us. The fact is, we survived! And it’s likely that the year ahead will be awesome in comparison with where we’ve been.
Questions help. Good ones, especially. Here are some (thanks especially to the poet David Whyte who inspired many of these).
What conversation I should stop having right now?
In what ways have I betrayed my better self?
What have I lost that I need to grieve?
What do I need to leave behind in this new year?
What is my essence?
What divine assignment might I need to complete before I die?
What is the journey that I want?
Who needs my blessing? How could I give it to them?
What is a promise I need to let go of?
How do I make space for new commitments?
What does it mean to show up?
What would it mean to drink from a deeper well?
Where does the world need my courage?
What other harvests are waiting for me?
How can I be like that last word I say before I die?
How can I live in this world as I was meant to live?
