Julian Bonnet’s back was deteriorating. The doctor said that unless he got a special surgery to stabilize it, he would be paralyzed for life.

The problem was that the surgery cost $17,000 and Julian had no money. What’s worse, no one in Julian’s family believed him. They figured he was making it up. When Justin Cron (and later his brothers Philip and Nathan) met him on the Gainesville public square, Julian was at a loss for what to do. Just walking a few steps brought on excruciating pain. He was far from his home in Puerto Rico and had no options.

The Cron brother had learned to look for God in random situations by going on mission trips. They knew God was asking them to help Julian. They started a campaign and within a few weeks, had raised all the money.

Today Julian is getting his surgery. Next week, he’ll be healed. His whole life has changed in the matter of a few months.

Katie Rowland’s video was a big part of the miracle. When his family saw the doctors describing his clinical condition, they realized that he had been telling the truth. They reconciled with him and gave half the money he needed.

Sometimes God gives us miracles that, though they don’t break any laws of nature, are no less amazing.
